Folxy Cosplay is a Multi - Award Winning Master level cosplayer based out of the Kansas city area. She is ever expanding her expertise with different mediums such as foam, fur, sewing, 3D Printing, Wig Making, Electronics, and animatronics. Folxy is best known for her over the top, oversized cosplays that either terrify or amaze you! Above all else she loves meeting her fans, talking shop, and encouraging and educating new future creators and cosplayers!
Amber Harvey
With crafting supplies in hand for over 15 years. Amber Harvey Cosplay has transformed into countless characters, bringing beloved worlds to life. A KC native and passionate advocate for the cosplay community, she has collaborated with numerous cosplay groups, events and non-profits, sharing her love of creating to inspire others. As co-head of the Kansas City Potterheads, Amber fosters an inclusive and magical community. Amber has participated on multiple Cosplay Contests and Comicon Committees and continues to contribute to the overall local cosplay community.
Jessica Violet
Jessica Violet is a cosplayer based out of the Kansas City area and has been cosplaying since 2015. She is a member of the local charity group, the Just-Us League. Jessica utilizes a multimedia approach to her cosplay creations; specializing in foamsmithing, resin casting, 3D printing and more. She loves to play Stardew Valley with friends, go to renaissance festivals, and collect various blind box figures!
Jennifer Forristal
Jen is an award winning cosplayer with 12 years of experience based out of Kansas City. She loves to make all types of cosplay from super suits, to ball gowns, to suits of armor. She is known for creative uses of thrifted and repurposed materials. She is also involved in charity character appearances and guest appearances at comic and pop culture conventions, including running and judging at several costume competitions. She loves to teach newer cosplayers and to continuously learn new techniques.
BadAsh Cosplay
BadAsh Cosplay is a Kansas cosplayer with almost 20 years of experience in the convention scene. Starting out in high school with her grandmother making her first cosplay, BadAsh has elevated herself in learning to make her own cosplays. She especially loves cosplay contests and has earned 40+ cosplay awards throughout the Midwest. She has skills in sewing, foam- smithing, pattern-making, resin-casting, item re-purposing, prop-making, wig-styling, 3-D printing, imagining her own cosplay designs, and she never stops experimenting with new cosplay skills and materials. BadAsh loves sharing her knowledge and passion for cosplay with others, whether they are renowned experts or just starting out. No good cosplayer is without support; alongside BadAsh is her husband, "Ninja," who assists her during conventions, photoshoots, contests, etc, and occasionally joins the fun in his own cosplays. BadAsh also loves photoshoots, convention panels, workshops, organizing contests, and a bunch of other cool nerdy stuff. From anime, video games, comics, TV shows; BadAsh loves it all in cosplay!
Trinity Garden Productions
Trinity Garden Cosplay is a local journeyman cosplay maker with 14 years of experience specializing in anime and video game cosplays. Their work includes fully handmade, altered, and commercial costume builds, with expertise in sewing, embroidery, and beadwork. In addition to cosplay, she leverages her skills in event planning and photography to help build a stronger, more inclusive, and diverse community where creators of all experience levels can learn, collaborate, and thrive.
Crystal Brakhage Designs
I have been cosplaying since 2020 and have competed several times, winning some awards along the way including Best in Show Main Stage, Best in Show Hall, and Best Multimedia. I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design. I have showcased different collections at Omaha Fashion Week and Kansas City Fashion Week. In 2019, I won Best Featured Designer at Omaha Fashion Week, While participating in Omaha Fashion Week, I discovered my passion for bringing characters to life. In 2019, my friends and I attended Anime Nebraskon for the first time and watched the cosplay competition, and I’ve never looked back. I have learned so much in a short time through competing and connecting with other cosplayers and creators. Additionally, I’ve gained valuable experience volunteering at the Omaha Community Playhouse in their costume shop and working as a dresser backstage. I hope to continue gaining experience and growing as a cosplayer.

Bodydoublecosplays (Jay) has been in the creative field for over 18 years. They're incredibly rehearsed with cosplaying as a whole and frequenting conventions, but their overall creative output truly breathes when tasked with turning simple thrifted materials into extraordinarily-made costumes all while using techniques they've mastered along their journey— skills such as: painting, tailoring, makeup, and inventing custom pieces to create the desired appearance. Jay's focus remains on bringing these characters’ unique details to life in an accessible and sustainable fashion. Their work is rooted in the belief that cosplay should be for everyone: regardless of experience, budget, or background and their overall goal is to inspire others to start where they are while using what they have. Forging S'mores is an award winning cosplayer from St. Louis, Missouri. She enjoys teaching others how to make elaborate costumes, from hosting informative panels to posting fun TikTok and YouTube tutorials. She also enjoys competing in cosplay competitions, as well as judging them. She loves talking about costumes, and all of the work that goes into making them!

Grapefruit Cosplay has been cosplaying since 2009 and sewing for 20+ years. She is most known for her detailed needlework techniques and fusion of historical sewing elements in her costumes. Stitchmonkey is cosplayer and costume designer known for her draping and stitchwork, in particular with her recreations of iconic looks from Star Wars. With a Master’s degree in Costume Design, she brings a wealth of sewing and construction techniques to her builds and enjoys sharing her expertise with others.

Arslan Afshar Kansas City recognized cosplayer and costume designer with over 3 years of experience bringing characters to life. Known for intricate armor builds and dynamic stage presence, Arslan has competed and won awards at conventions including Naka-kon, Planet Anime, Planet Comicon, and KC Retro Con. I live for the adrenaline rush right before I go on stage! Arslan's work blends craftsmanship with performance, Incorporating LED effects, 3d printing, Sewing, Leather-smithing, Foam-smithing, and Custom wig styling. Beyond competition, Arslan is a passionate builder— promotes mental health , body positivity, and biggest contributing factors for the love of cosplay, you can be anything or anyone, you're only limitation being is your imagination. an advocate of group participation and positive motivation.

Matt and Lacy Lang
Perry Vault is a Midwest based Cosplay Couple. As life long fans of many fandoms, they greatly enjoy recreating cosplays and props from their favorite universes. When the Husband and Wife duo is not attending conventions, you can likely find them crafting their next project. They excel in building exquisitely detailed cosplays almost exclusively from EVA foam. With multiple awards and accolades, they are confident in their repertoire of diverse skills. Perry Vault is always eager to share ideas and offer encouragement to new cosplayers and builders alike.
Christopher Chamberlin
Broken Canon Cosplay is Chris, a costume/prop-maker and charity cosplayer living in Manhattan, Kansas. He often patterns and sews costumes from scratch, 3D prints and paints armor and props, and sometimes does makeup and latex work. He will often buy components for costume builds or an entire costume, no shame in that! He loves to use cosplay to create moments of real and spontaneous joy for people, especially for charities and hospitals. He's been a member of the Just-Us League for a few years as their Spider-Man and Robin, and sometimes appearing as Nightcrawler with them at Planet Comicon. He's also seeking official membership in the Mandalorian Mercs, a Star Wars costume club specifically for Mandalorians that also does charity work with their costuming. Through these groups he gets to provide free costumed entertainment for people, especially kids and their families, dealing with major struggles. Being able to bring a bit of joy and help them step outside of their situation for even just a moment is such an honor and gives the hobby real meaning for Chris.
